#Positve Thoughts Help
From the moment I realised that the shock of having MS was making my symptoms worse. I knew that my emotional and mental state were playing a large part in how I was feeling .

I try very hard to look at my illness now in a balanced way, I can't say I accept it because that would feel like giving up, but I do understand it's there all the time.

These are some of my positve thoughts

I suppose what I am trying to say here is that I try and see everything as a balance.

For all the bad things there has to be good. This idea is quite a hard thing to believe sometimes, particularly at the beginning of discovering you have MS or in any context.
The other important and difficult thing I have learnt is patience. The less I have pressured myself over the variety of things life has thrown at me the better I have sustained my symptoms.

Finally, just to say here that "I am human" and suffer with all the same things everybody else does, getting frustrated, being angry, feeling sad, impatient and stressed, but the above positive points are what I try to aspire to in everyday living and when I do I tend to feel a little better.

Treatments
Well at the moment I am not taking any NHS prescribed drugs, I count myself lucky to be in this situation and if my symptoms got worse I would certainly consider taking them.
I take a multi-vitamin- with minerals in the mornings, I also take an omega (3,6,9) which contains flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil and sunflower oil. These contain Gamma linoleic acid which is supposed to be very helpful in healing.
Sometimes I take paracetomol or ibruprofen if the pain is really bad.
I visit a Chiropractor once a month.
